There is somewhat of a social stigma surrounding Online Dating, but its becoming more mainstream and more socially acceptable. And though I am sure there are some lumps of coal in the world of online dating, there are, at least in my opinion, a lot more diamonds in the rough. I have probably in my lifetime met up with somewhere around 100 and 200 women from online dating, and though it has happened sometimes (though very rarely) that people take pictures that maybe favor them a little bit too much, or are not 100% honest with their income/weight/height, i still have never, ever, had what I would categorize as a negative experience from online dating. Sure its not always a perfect click or love at first sight, but I believe if you go in with a positive vibe, then whoever it is you are meeting will return the favor, and make it a good meetup for both of you regardless of what it turns into.
